Salon Policies

Our service providers are independent salon professionals meaning they set their own hours and policies regarding cancellation fees, deposits, and services offered. The policies outlined below are basic salon policies and are set in place by the owner of Haven Salon Collective, LLC and specifically apply to clients of Hair by Cait at this establishment. Please check with your individual service provider if you have any questions about their policies.

The policies as outlined here are for all clients of Haven Salon Collective, LLC and do not necessarily apply to independent artists working at the business. Please see your individual service provider for their detailed policies.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not wish to keep a card on file a booking fee may be charged to cover potential no-show or change fees. Agreeing to storing your card for an individual appointment or storing your card permanently in your profile authorizes Haven Salon Collective LLC charge your card on file in the event of a no-call no-show or cancellation or for booking fees. This does not authorize Haven Salon Collective LLC to share your information or view your full credit card information.

Due to high demand Haven Salon Collective, LLC requires a 2 day notice of any appointment changes or cancellations. Any appointment cancellation within this window will result in a 50% fee. Under certain circumstances, appointments able to be rescheduled to another day or time within the same calendar week the fee may be waived.

50% fee is due prior to rescheduling any appointment. Refusal to pay cancellation or change fees will result in your immediate termination as a client.

We operate on a 3 strike rule, if you cancel or change your appointment within the 2 day window 3 times within the calendar year you will no longer be allowed to book services. If you have questions please contact your stylist directly!

Holiday season cancellation and change policy 2023:

Effective November 1 - January 1, 2023. Due to higher than usual demand around major holidays Haven Salon Collective, LLC requires 7 days notice of any appointment changes or cancellations. Any change for any reason less than 7 days in advance will result in a cancellation/change fee of 50%. Fee is due prior to rescheduling any appointment.

Redos & refunds

All services rendered at Haven Salon Collective, LLC are non-refundable.

If you are unsatisfied with a service please contact your stylist directly within 5 days of the original service to schedule a redo. Redo services must be done by the original service provider at no additional cost. This guarantee is void if: you go to another stylist for a redo, do not follow at home care instructions including using salon quality hair products, and/or use at home color including but not limited to Overtone and box colors.

This redo policy does not apply in cases where the client's self-image affects satisfaction with the cut or color and/or changes their mind on the color/tone of the hair after the service is finished. If the client wishes alterations to be made in such cases regular pricing of additional services will apply. In addition: A refund will not be granted if agreed upon services are outside of the client's budget. All prices are clearly and publicly stated on the Haven Salon Collective, LLC booking flow and can vary based on technique and amount of product needed to complete the service. These prices are subject to change with or without notice so please check for pricing updates prior to coming in for your services. If you must cancel your appointment do so at least 3 days in advance (7 days notice will be needed during the holiday season Nov. 1-Jan. 1) of scheduled service to avoid paying cancellation fees.

Sick Policy

If you are feeling ill reach out to your service provider about your appointment! Your appointment will likely be rescheduled for 5-10 days later than the original appointment if you have cold, flu, or COVID-19 symtoms. According to updated CDC recommendations, instead of quarantining if you were exposed to COVID-19, you wear a high-quality mask for 10 days and get tested on day 5. This is regardless of vaccination status. Therefore, if you are exposed to COVID-19 but have no symptoms and have not yet tested positive, you may keep your appointment but you must wear a high qulaity mask(KN-95 or similar)during your entire salon visit. If you do not wish to wear a mask and wish to cancel or change your appointment then standard cancellation fees will apply.

If you come to the salon showing symptoms of an illness, you will be asked to leave and you will be charged a cancellation fee for that appointment since we cannot fill the time slot on such short notice. We will call or message you to reschedule for a later date.

Inclement Weather Policy

We are located in WNY and the weather can be unpredictable but snow is inevitable in the winter months. If a severe winter storm is predicted and a salon closure is necessary a decision will be made by 8am and we will touch base with you directly to reschedule, in this case a cancellation or change fee will not be charged. We highly value your safety and ours, that being said, if the weather will make it unsafe for us to travel to the salon we will reschedule your appointment. If inclement weather clearly is not an issue a last minute change or cancellation fee of 50% will apply if we cannot fit you in within the next 5 days.
